Front-end web developer

As a Front-end Developer at Fortes, you will work on our product on a daily basis. Thousands of users at governments, healthcare institutions and other large organizations work with the screens you develop. We deliver a mature product for large, complex organizations. Your work will consist of improving existing UI as well as building new functionality. You have room to delve into new groundbreaking technology and to make an impact on the product.

What are you going to do?

Building the front-end of an advanced cloud application, together with your teammates Improve and monitor the design language of Fortes' solutions Deliver mockups for the development of new functional concepts You own the front-end user experience of our customers. Who are you? You have an eye for consistency, usability and you understand how applications meet the user's expectations. You immerse yourself in new technology and new insights. Every day, you see how abstract functionality changes into useful applications under your hands. You like to surround yourself with professionals, because you set the bar high for yourself and your work. If you also have experience with DevOps processes (feature branches, PRs, continuous integration) we are very happy. You like to be involved in both the technical and the human aspects of your profession and you are a demonstrably talented front-end developer with at least a higher professional education (HBO) working and thinking level.

• SaaS application in a micro-service architecture
• Modern JavaScript, HTML and CSS
• ReactJS and Ant Design in combination with Storybook
• Back-end communication via GraphQL and REST
• Test frameworks Mocha and Cypress
